It generates strategic research at the intersection of geopolitics, technology and capital; turns that research into public instruments and working datasets; and — through the Platform and its mandates — carries it into the decisions of nations, enterprises and people. Not a think tank that stops at publication. Not a consultancy that starts without one. Based in London. Non-aligned by design.

Independence

Independence is the constitution.

The Institute’s authority rests on its independence — and its independence is structural, not rhetorical. No funder, client, partner or member can determine a method or a finding. Funders underwrite seats and mandates; they never underwrite conclusions. The research and the public instruments are published free, for everyone. The counsel — and the work members do on the Platform — remains confidential, for those who act.

The divide that matters is not between East and West. It is between societies that can see the architecture they inhabit — and those that cannot.
