ISII
The Platform

The Platform. Where strategic research becomes strategic action.

The Institute’s entire body of thought — every paper, every index, every dataset — fused with an AI strategist trained on all of it, in a confidential working platform built for the people who must decide.

Why it exists

The world does not lack research. It lacks the bridge from research to decision.

Strategic research is produced in volume and acted on in fragments. Consultancies act without the depth of independent thought; think tanks think without the means to act. Between them sits the gap where sovereignty is quietly lost — insight that arrives unread, unmeasured, unapplied.

The Platform is that bridge, built as a product. It is what makes ISII the next generation of think tank: not an archive of papers, but a working instrument of transition.

What is inside

Four capabilities. One working surface.

The Strategist

A tailor-made AI strategist, built by the Institute and fine-tuned on its full body of research, its indices and its datasets. It does not summarise papers — it applies them: to your nation’s exposure, your portfolio’s dependencies, your enterprise’s position, the decision in front of you. The discipline descends from the Institute’s chair — the author of The Master Strategist — encoded, and placed at every member’s side.

The datasets

Every instrument, queryable. Compose a company’s sovereignty profile across capital, technology and cognition. Benchmark a state’s exposure at all seven technology chokepoints. Track cognitive-capture indicators across 179 nations. The public editions remain free to read and cite; the working data lives — and works — on the Platform.

The research, made actionable

Every ISII paper arrives on the platform with its implications attached: what it means for your position, what it changes, what it asks you to decide. Analysis without an actionable consequence is treated as unfinished.

The counsel, continued

Private, confidential workspaces where members work with the Strategist — and, on mandates, with the principals — between briefings. Members convene at the Institute’s salons and annual Summit. The room is small because the work is confidential — not because the door is closed.

Micro · Meso · Macro

One platform. Three altitudes.

Macro — the state.

National positions on all three axes: cognitive sovereignty, growth durability, technological leverage. Transition strategy from diagnosis to sequencing to implementation.

Meso — the enterprise and the fund.

A company’s sovereignty is real, and measurable: its dependencies, its chokepoint exposure, the durability beneath its growth. The Platform scores the position and helps direct it — for boards, portfolios and allocators.

Micro — the person.

Sovereignty is finally exercised by individuals: the leader who must decide, the citizen who must think clearly inside architectures built to think for them. The Platform extends cognitive capability to the person — judgment, foresight and defence of one’s own attention.

Sovereignty compounds. States are made of enterprises; enterprises are made of people. The transition is won at all three altitudes — or at none.

Seats

Access by seat. Seats follow responsibility.

Member seats

Decision-makers and their institutions hold seats by subscription — with the Strategist, datasets and research tailored to their mandate.

Underwritten seats

Funders and philanthropies underwrite seats for those who carry mandates but not budgets — governments in transition, public institutions, researchers. Funding a seat confers no influence over what the seat-holder sees, or what the Institute finds.

Mandate seats

Every Institute mandate includes seats, so the counsel continues between briefings — and outlives them.

Institutional seats

The Platform is open rails. Research institutions can bring their own work onto the platform and make it actionable the same way — measured, queryable, applied. The gap between thinking and acting is not ISII’s alone to close.

Nothing on the Platform is closed for the sake of exclusivity. It is confidential for the sake of the work.

No funder sees a member’s work. No member shapes a finding. The research and the public instruments remain free, for everyone. The Platform is where those who must act, act on them.

Bring your position onto the platform.

Seats are available to decision-makers, funders, mandate-holders and institutions. The work is best understood in a working session.
